Lead Pastor
Paul and Desiree Berglund
Pastor Paul became Redemption Church Clarkston's Lead Pastor in September 2023. Pastor Paul and Desiree have been in ministry throughout their entire marriage whether in children's, worship, or home group settings. Their passion is to show the love of Jesus in every situation, to save the lost, to see the sick healed, to see the broken restored, to encourage others in their walk with Christ, and to disciple the believers. Pastor Paul and Desi have three children: Lincoln, Kassidy, and Ruby.
Associate Pastor
Jay and Kim Norman
Pastor Jay serves as the Connections Pastor and his wife, Kim, is one of the board members. Kim also serves as a worship leader and early childhood ministry leader.
Associate Pastor
Jim and Jill Wallace
Pastor Jim serves as one of the associate pastors and his wife, Jill, serves as a worship leader and in children's ministry.
During his time in active ministry Jim has served as lead pastor in Garfield and Chewelah Wa. and as an associate pastor in Bremerton Wa., Sandpoint Id. and Valley Assembly in Spokane. His current ministry position is in Clarkston where he serves as associate pastor of Discipleship and Biblical Teaching. In addition to his part time role at Redemption Church Clarkston he also serves as a chaplain for St. Joseph's Family Hospice in Lewiston Id.
Media and Sound Technician
Charles "Chuck" Lamar
Chuck serves in the media and sound technology ministry. He is in a key position as he ensures not only the media and sound in the physical church building is functioning, but Redemption Church Clarkston's online presence is up and running. Chuck also serves on the board.
Administrative Assistant/Secretary
Cathy Duclos
Cathy serves as the administrative assistant/secretary. She ensures the financials of the church are tracked correctly, reports are created, and the bills are being paid.
Board Member
Rebekah "Beka" Gump
Beka serves on the board and also on the worship team. Beka's states the following in her bio:
"Hi! I am Rebekah (Beka). I am a born and raised Assemblies of God's pastor kid. I have been a Christian my whole life; learning as I grow what a real relationship with God looks like for me. I've lived most of my life in the LC valley. When I got married in 2012, we moved to Hawaii where my husband served in the Navy. After my husband left the Navy, we moved back home. I now work at Asotin school, where I love helping kids grow and learn. We have one daughter that keeps us very busy."
